Cub Scouts (8-10.5)

Cubs Scouts is the second section of the Scouting Movement for 8 to 10 ½ year olds. As a Cub, your child will join the Pack on exciting adventures, discovering hidden talents and exploring the world around them.

In this section, excitement and adventure are key. The Cubs Programme offers Cubs a huge variety of activities, indoors and outdoors, allowing them to be creative and get involved in the local community.

At 1st Lym Valley, our Cubs enjoy going on camps and hikes, getting out on the water when possible, trying new activities, gaining independence, and most importantly working towards their Chief Scout Silver Award – the highest award of the Cub section.
